Becky Scoops ‘Finance Professional of the Year’ Title

Gresham financial adviser Becky Sugden has been awarded the title of ‘Finance Professional of the Year’ at a recent awards ceremony. Becky, who offers a full financial planning service to trustees, private and corporate clients, was named as the winner at the Manchester Young Talent Awards (MYTA), organised by JCI Manchester.

The MYTA awards, now in their sixth year, recognise outstanding individuals under the age of 39 who exemplify the best attributes of Manchester’s upcoming professionals. With professionals recognised across ten different sectors, the awards are known for highlighting the ‘rising stars’ in the region’s business community.

This year’s awards ceremony was held at the Imperial War Museum in Manchester and was attended by over 300 guests.

Following on from winning the award, Becky commented:

“I am really thrilled to have received this award. There were lots of talented people who were shortlisted, not least in my category. Knowing how high the standard of entries must have been makes it even more special to have won.”

In winning this award Becky becomes Gresham’s second award winning advisor, with Director Morven Millar having won the prestigious ‘North West Chartered Financial Planner of the Year’ title in 2012.
