After the success of our first Professional Masterclass in February, Gresham Wealth Management are delighted to announce the next event in the series.
The forthcoming masterclass, which will take place on 17th June, will cover the impact of the unexpected collapse in the price of oil; one of the key events in financial markets over the past year. We are delighted that we will be joined by Neal Bailey, strategist and economist at Invesco Perpetual. An engaging and experienced speaker, Neal delivers seminars to over 5,000 investment professionals every year.
In particular, Neal will look at:
- Is the fall in oil prices good or bad?
- What has caused oil prices to collapse and what are the implications for the UK and global economies?
- The causes of deflation and what has been behind the current round of deflationary pressures. Is it just down to a fall in the oil price? Deflation is considered to be bad for economies, so we will look at why this is the case and whether this assumption is actually true. We will also outline what has historically happened to key financial markets during periods of deflation.
Starting at 8:00 am and with a chance to network over breakfast, this CPD event is a must attend for all professionals. The event will run until approximately 10:00 am and attendees will be able to claim 1.5 CPD points from the event.
Places are limited at the event so for more information or to reserve your place, please contact us here or call us on 0161 973 9150.
